Best East Melbourne Accommodation

Presenting the Best of East Melbourne Hotels

Melbourne is the coastal capital of the South Eastern Australian state of Victoria. At the city’s centre is the modern Federation Square development, with plazas, bars, and restaurants by the Yarra River. East Melbourne is an inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia, 2 km east of Melbourne’s Central Business District (CBD). East Melbourne still has an old world charm, wide leafy green streets and large old houses full of character. A suburb so close to the CBD and yet there are freestanding houses without almost any high rise buildings. This gives the neighbourhood ample open space all around without the shadows of high rises.

I like the concept of communal courtyard with barbecue facility available in Birches. Hotel Windsor looks pretty grand, I particularly like its floor design. The motifs look Persian. I was also reading the ‘Who are we’ section and I think I just spotted Jo of Wander With Jo! 🙂

These are lovely accommodation options in Melbourne. I like the fact that there is a range to suit every budget and taste, from Bed n Breakfast to a fully loaded luxury experience. I was strangely riveted by the Magnolia Courtyard, it looks so Victorian and has an old world charm.

Those apartments are quite luxurious. Though I have never been to Melbourne, I hear it is quite expensive. I would love to know how these stack up against the regular hotels in terms of price. Shall definitely be comparing these.
