Hey Lois, yes they are quite lovely and unique. However, the ones listed here are just a few of them, there are a lot more.
White Town has a charm of its own and often feels like the French countryside.

Pondicherry looks like it has some pretty great accommodation options – I personally love seeking out heritage hotels, so Palais de Mahe and Anantha Heritage Hotel look wonderful. I love the idea of staying in a restored villa from 18th-century – too cool! Though the view from the room at Pondicherry Promenade of the lighthouse is quite incredible too.

Pondicherry is one of its kind and these hotels are great options to stay in this charming place. When we were in Pondicherry we stayed at one of the resorts on the outskirts of Pondicherry as were there for a staycation and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have to admit, I’ve never heard of Pondicherry, but it sounds lovely and with a good range of accommodation options. Le Chateau looks pretty lovely for a budget hotel and I love that they also include breakfast! There’s quite a few listed here that I wouldn’t mind staying in, but I think Le Pondy would have to be my first pick!

My favorite on this list is Palais de Mahe because it stays true to the theme of peace and tranquility which means no binging on Netflix! I also love how conveniently located it is, close to the beach and train station.
